Prayagraj well known as Allahabad city (A city of India) with the population of 2.422 Million people 7th most populous city. It’s the capital of Uttar Pradesh which is well known as U.P.

A Day At KUMBH MELA

Its 4th February 2019 here in prayagraj and as a traveler I was lucky enough to have invited to the Kumbh on a special tour by courtesy of the Uttar Pradesh government and get the chance to witness the world's largest festival on its busiest day. Its was 8 A.M in the morning when bus arrived and the conductor informed me that It would take at least 2 to 3 hours to get to the kumbh Mela and Kumbh Mela was about 30 kilometer away but I can see millions of beautiful gala from there because it was one of the biggest festival in the world after several hours I arrived on the south bank of the Yamuna river where our tents are and I was at the top of the mountain to capturing the beautiful scene and I can see millions of people from there. Its was the unforgettable moment of my life. At the start of the kumbh Mela I saw a lost and found center there where you can find lost member of your family then we arrived at the luxury tent city I was so lucky to be there because the organization was great there and we met with some gurus. They were so nice to us then they served us the breakfast which was finger licking good.4th of the February was the most auspicious day where all the BABA’s will go dip in the water. It’s the day where millions of people attending the mela which was simply mind blowing. Its was once in a life time experience because the festival was so large that It can be seen from the space after exploring the kumbh mela we went for the sarwasti river which they called the mystical river and I saw millions of people dipping themselves into that river. The people were so friendly to me they were coming to me shaking my hand and putting their hand on my head with the big smile that was the moment I will never forget in my life. After capturing some sunset moments, me with my team have to leave for mela and at the 8 P.M we arrived at our hotel where we had our dinner.



Old City Of Prayagraj

5th February next day we went for the old city of prayagraj at 10 A.M I was noticing that the buildings and markets looks really old and its seems like you can buy everything from these markets because It was really huge market and we went for the famous Samosa of prayagraj, in the chowk area of the market. The name of the shop was Hari Ram and sons we bought the plate of different types of snack which contain 5 items which taste really good and I asked the owner the shop that when you established this shop then he told me that it was the shop of his Grand Father and he established this shop when he was young and it was established in 1890 so the shop was 125 year old which was mind blowing after eating some delicious snack we went for the lassi which was located in the old street area of the market. The shop name was Rajaram Lassi then I asked him how old was the shop and he gave me almost same reply that the shop was 120-year-old then we buy the tall glass of lassi which taste so good everything in the market was so cheap and so good. Lassi is basically the shake of the yogurt which taste mind-blowing. After exploring the old city of prayagraj. Its was already evening then we went for some dessert. Netram Mulchand & Sons which located at the the end of the old market serve us their best food which they called kachori. Kachori almost fill my stomach because it was too heavy and delicious. After the sunset we went back to our hotel and it was my last day at the prayagraj my experience of the prayagraj was one the best memory I ever had.

The best things about the prayagraj city was their people. The hospitality of the people won my heart. The days which I spend there was one the best moments of life
